Outdoor Journal Radio – August 05 2017

Sherri Haigh is the independent traveler. Sherri quit her executive dream job, sold her condo, and went traveling the world. She wrote a travel blog on her
adventures in exotic places. She loves the outdoors, especially golf and fishing.

Sherri got married recently and Angelo wants to hear more about her new fishing partner, the “incomplete angler.”
Matt Overend from Craganmor Point Resort, on Georgian Bay near Parry Sound, will join Angelo on the “Go Fish in Ontario” segment. Matt and crew offer fully
serviced waterfront cottages, overlooking some great fishing on the Georgian Bay. Bass, northern pike, muskie, walleye and lake trout are just moments from the
doorstep of the resort.

Garmin just released a new panoptix transducer that fits your trolling motor. Danny Thompson will join Angelo to talk about the new line of Garmin product including their athletic watches with a marine function.

Ben Woo is the organizer of the Berkley B1 pro bass series of tournaments. The first stage of three, was held in early July on the Bay of Quinte. Stage 2 will be
held in Port Colborne on August 18th and 19th. The Johnson brothers from Peterborough were the winners in Belleville. Will they repeat on Lake Erie?
