Outdoor Journal Radio joins forces with Toronto Sportsmen’s Show

Canada’s longest running and most listened to outdoors talk radio show “Outdoor Journal Radio” joins forces with Toronto Sportsmen’s Show

Outdoor Journal Radio  is the little train that could. What started out as a curiosity on CFRB’s Ted Woloshyn radio show in 1994 is now in it’s 25th season and about to broadcast it’s 1,300 th episode Saturday March 16 th on Rogers Sportsnet the Fan 590. To commemorate this milestone broadcast, ODJ Radio is going to do it live from the 2019 Toronto Sportsmen’s Show at the International Center in Mississauga, the perfect venue for this special event. “Our listeners, of which there are approximately 350,000 each week, are passionate about the outdoors, so broadcasting live from the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is a perfect fit”, says Angelo Viola, host of Outdoor Journal Radio.

“They fish, they hunt and camp…they hike, paddle and ski…they ride snowmobiles, Atv’s and boats…and enjoy the variety and quality of outdoor recreational activities that are offered in the province of Ontario”. The Ontario Tourism booth will be headquarters for this historic broadcast, and as a special feature, Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Michael A. Tibollo, will be on hand to make a guest appearance on the show. He will be joining a star-studded line up of some of Canada’s biggest names in the outdoor industry. So, don’t forget, Saturday morning March 16 th come and join the ODJ broadcast team at the Toronto Sportsmen’s show from 10am to 12 noon and be a part of this special Outdoor Journal Radio presentation.
