Outdoor Journal Radio – July 14 2018

Scott Gardner from Outdoor Canada magazine joins Angelo with stories about his camping and kayaking fishing trips. Can you fly fish from a kayak? Which species of fish are tough to catch from a kayak? Scott will share his experience as an expert in the field.

Wilderness Adventures from Toronto, takes guided overnight trips by canoe and kayak, to the 30,000 islands of Georgian Bay and to Algonquin Park. Paul McCormick joins Angelo with the details about upcoming trips in Ontario and beyond.

On the Go Fish in Ontario segment we’ll talk to Peter Martin from Kap River Outfitters in Kapuskasing. Peter and his team will arrange for a remote northern pike and walleye fishing trip on three excellent river fisheries in Northeastern Ontario.

Greg Wilkinson will join Angelo for a discussion about “Safe Quiet Lakes”. This program is changing the boating habits in the Muskoka Lakes region. Is it effective, and how is it being received by residents and cottagers?
