Play

This is the Remembrance Day broadcast, as we pay tribute to those who have
fallen, and our armed forces personnel past and present.

Rob Larman from War Amps is the Director of the Play Safe and Drive Safe
Program. Rob lost his left leg at the age of 14, and now promotes the programs
offered for Canadian amputees from all walks of life.

Ryley McMillan is now 9 years old. He was born without a left arm and received
assistance from the War Amps. Ryley plays hockey and baseball, and he’s a
spokesperson for the Play Safe children’s program.
Both Ryley and Rob will join Angelo with their stories before they attend their local
Remembrance Day service.

In the ‘Go Fish in Ontario’ segment, Darren Scott from Muskoka StayN Play Tours
will set up a customized ice fishing trip on the three big Muskoka lakes. If you
need an ice hut, equipment, guide, snowmobile, clothing, and accommodations,
no problem! Darren joins Angelo with all the details.

When is a wolf a wolf and not a coyote? Should Ontario increase the protection for
the Eastern wolf? The Environmental Commissioner for Ontario says that the
Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is not doing enough. Dr. Brent
Patterson and Maria De Almeida from the OMNRF will join Angelo for a
discussion about wolves and the government response to the Commissioner’s
report.
