Nik V joins Angelo in the booth on Saturday. Nik recently competed in the World Junior Carp Championships in Italy.

Andrew Walker competed in the World Carp Championships against 113 of the best carp anglers at Lac de Madine France. Andrew tells Angelo about his experience in the competition. Is Canada ready to host a World Championship with 20 countries participating?

Peter Bowman from the Fish’n Canada team caught some huge striper bass in New Brunswick. Is it worth the trip to catch a 30 lb trophy? Pete has the answer. On the Go Fish in Ontario segment, Brian Harrington from Clearview Cottage Resort and Marina on Stony Lake, joins Angelo. Brian has been fishing the lake for 50 years. He will share his story about great fishing vacations, close to Peterborough.

Ohio and Michigan are netting invasive Grass Carp, attaching transmitters, and releasing the fish to learn more about their movements. These fish are capable of spawning, and moving around the Great Lakes. There are fisheries scientists in Ontario who say this is folly, and Grass Carp should be killed to attempt to control their spread. Becky Cudmore is a carp specialist from the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans. She joins Angelo with her perspective on these studies.
