Dr. Steven Cooke from the Cooke Lab at Carleton University offers his advice on bass fishing as Angelo prepares for the Berkley B1 pro bass tournament on Lake St Francis.

The World Championship Squirrel Cook Off gets underway on Saturday and Canada is represented by Sean Kelly and Mark Chandler from Black Angus Fine Meats and Game. Joe Wilson is the organizer for the event and he reports live from Bentonville Arkansas.

On the “Go Fish in Ontario” segment Bert Cunningham from Doran Bay Resort joins Angelo. Doran Bay is located at Iroquois, half way between Brockville and Cornwall, on the St Lawrence River. The bass and carp are big, and the muskies are huge.

Has summer finally arrived? Michael Carter from the Weather Network has the extended forecast for the fall. Will it be as good as it looks? Patrick Walsh from Outdoor Canada magazine joins Angelo with an update on the big game issue.
