Outdoor Journal Radio – September 22 2018

Ben Woo is the organizer of the Berkley B1 series of bass tournaments. Ben will join Angelo for a discussion about the upcoming B1 on Lake St Francis. Angelo and Pete will be on the water for this event.

Seafood fraud is a lucrative business. Oceana Canada has been testing fish in stores and restaurants across Canada. Julia Levin joins Angelo with the results of their investigation and it’s pretty discouraging. Some of the fish tested will make you sick.

On the Go Fish in Ontario segment, we pay a visit to Lake Temiskaming in Northeastern Ontario. The lake is huge, and the fishing for walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass is excellent. Pat Hewitt from Old Mission Resort joins Angelo with fish stories and a history lesson from the early days of the Mission Point settlement.

It’s time to film the next hunting adventure shows for Canada in the Rough. Keith Beasley has the list of the upcoming filming locations and he shares the plan with Angelo.
