This week, Angelo’s guests will give him some Christmas gift ideas for those who love the outdoors! Good friend Jim Grayston from the Ontario Tourism Marketing Corporation, will
co-host the program with Angelo. We’re going to Hillsburgh to pick out our Christmas tree. Erika Westcott from Wintersinger’s Christmas tree farm will join Angelo to talk about the family
experience of cutting your own tree. What is the best tree? Erika will have the answer.

On the Go Fish in Ontario segment, Hank Smoke from Indian Point Camp on Wabigoon Lake in Northwestern Ontario, will take us on a trophy fishing journey. The fish are huge! And you can combine the fishing trip with spring bear hunting or fall trophy deer hunts.

Environment Canada says we lost 1.5 billion birds in just one census period. This is scary stuff! Ted Cheskey from Nature Canada says the kids can help our feathered friends, create awareness and have fun doing it. We’ll talk about cool birding gifts for kids using their electronic device. Keith Beasley has been everywhere across the country, in search of big game.  The filming is now complete, and Keith will tell us his favourite highlights and what’s coming on Canada’s favourite hunting adventure program, Canada in the Rough.

How can you have your say on proposals for fishing and hunting, or projects that affect the environment? Deputy Commissioner of the Environment, Ellen Schwartzel, will join Angelo and talk about the electronic registry, and how Ontarians can participate in the decision making process.
