Last weekend, the Canadian Safe Boating Council presented a lifesaving award to OPP Sergeant Dan Peters from Thunder Bay. Dan was able to find two missing boaters who flipped a canoe in Lake Superior. After clinging to the canoe for 6 hours in bone chilling water, the rescue occurred in a nick of time. Dan will share his story with Angelo.
On the Go Fish in Ontario segment, Rodger Donaldson from Elk Lake Wilderness Resort joins Angelo, to talk about customized packages for snowmobilers and fishermen. This resort is located on the Montreal River, which is renowned for the walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass and trout fishing.
Dave Mercer is the star of the TV program “The Facts of Fishing”. This Canadian production from Belleville Ontario, just won an award at the 17th annual Outdoor Sportsman Awards in Las Vegas. Dave was one of two Canadians on the podium and Angelo will get all the details.
