Could a Northern Ontario community face a mammoth forest fire, similar to the Fort McMurray fire? Charles Ingleton from Fire 1, a training company for forest fire fighters, will join Angelo to talk about the Fort McMurray fire and the lessons for Northern Ontario. Angelo wants to talk to Arniece Salata at Trent River Cottages in Hastings, at the east end of Rice Lake. The Trent River flies under the radar, for nearby walleye and bass fishing. Angelo wants to know more. Is this area the next location for a Fish’n Canada TV shoot? Provincial Parks are now open in Southern Ontario. Sheila Wiebe from Ontario Parks has some advice for Victoria Day weekend campers. Angelo wants to find out from Sheila if kids are interested in the camping experience, and is this
generation in touch with nature and the outdoors.
What happened this week on Parliament Hill when Bill C 246 was debated? Robert Sopuck the opposition MP from Manitoba was there, when the draft Bill named “Modernizing the Animal Protection Act” was presented. The Bill had raised the ire of hunters and anglers from coast to coast. Robert Sopuck will lay it
all bare for Angelo on the air. And the Coleman Warehouse Sale offers some great camping gear at incredible prices. Dawn Whiteside from Coleman has an update for Angelo with all the details on the June sale.
