Angelo is back from the Berkley B1 Bass tournament in Valleyfield Quebec. The winning team topped the field with a two day total of 43.59 lbs which was 1/100th of a pound more than the second place finishers. Ryan Flaro will join Angelo to talk about the tension and excitement of winning the biggest tournament in his career.

What’s the outlook for Zika virus in Florida, and how great is the risk for the 3.1 million Canadian who visit Florida each year? Dr. Beth Bell from the U.S. Centers for Disease control will talk about efforts to contain the spread of Zika, and the public health implications for travelers. How is it possible that in just 40 years, 1.5 billion birds have disappeared, and 86 species are in trouble. Judith Kennedy from Environment Canada will explain the survey by Partners in Flight, and how you can help our little feathered friends avoid extinction.

We’re going fishing, hunting, ATV riding and we’re getting ready for the snowmobile season at Auld Reekie Lodge in the Go Fish in Ontario segment. Urs Bruner will join Angelo to talk fall fishing and winter trips on your snowmobile. If you live in Toronto or nearby, Paddle Toronto offers kayak, canoe and stand up paddle board rentals from their location at Harbourfront. Dave Corrigan takes groups to the protected waters of the Toronto Islands to learn to paddle, and he will explain to Angelo why you don’t need to buy a boat to enjoy the sport.
