Can dogs detect cancer? Dr. Marie Holowaychuk is our Critical Care Vet and shewill tell us about using a dog to detect prostate cancer.  What can we do about Asian carp…which is a destructive invasive species. They are now established in Lake Erie…and it appears in Lake Ontario. Angelo will talk to Kristine Pinkney from the Invasive Species Centre about an innovative way to manage this problem.
Laura WallVarey from Timberlane Rustic Lodges on Manitoulin Island will join Angelo to talk about fishing on Lake Manitou. What a great location for fall colours at a full service lodge. The Ontario moose population is in decline, and the problem seems to extend across Eastern North America. Dr. Brent Patterson is a research scientist with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, and he has some thoughts to share.
